remoting in today. i could get used to this. i've done nothing all day, which is what i could possibly have been doing at work, but i have the added benefit of my cat's company, access to gmail, a kitchen, pajamas, and itunes.
i uncovered a treasure of old gershwin showtunes from the 20's into the 30's. it reminds me of wall-e. one of my favorite parts of the movie is when he dances to i love dolly with a hubcap as a hat, and starts humming to keep beat. that's what i would like my room to feel like when i get home from work - cozy with personal junk, old-fashioned yet functional, with the utter contentment that comes with lack of self-awareness.
i'm not really sick today. i just felt like playing hooky.
