Reminders from the recent past

For instance use cold water to mix the cornstarch to coat that chicken. Buy organic meats and milk produce. Fruit and vegetables are an important part of your day. Oolong mango tea is delicious although green tea is healthier.
Life goes on whether your children are in private school or not. But be sure your daughters are respectable young ladies, and that your sons stay away from bad women. Encourage them to follow their dreams only if they are in the top 1% and only if you can afford it.
Buy the best car to handle groceries and children. Buy the best appliances so that you won't hurt your wrist or strain your back. Don't fight over chores. If necessary, hire a cleaner for the house and a gardener for the yard. In any case, it's not good for a woman to work too hard or she will look old too soon.
The good wife supports her husband, keeps his rumpled bachelorhood at bay, bears the brunt of his carelessnesses, bears the insults to her vanity alone at the mirror when he is absent - the birth stretch marks, her roughened hands, her decaying beauty that she preserves for him. The good wife never microwaves frozen dinner and her farts are silent and humble.
